Gregory S. For more than a quarter century, Mr. Winton has dedicated his professional career to promoting the aviation industry.  Mr. Winton is a former senior trial attorney for the Federal Aviation Administration.  He also served as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice, Aviation Litigation Division.  Mr. Winton is the current Chairman of the Rules Committee for the National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association (NTSBBA). He is also a member for the regulatory Issues Advisory Group for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

Most recently, Mr. Winton was selected by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) to serve as the Eastern Region Representative.   As an AOPA Regional Representative, Mr. Winton is charged with gathering intelligence about state legislative initiatives, building relationships with key aviation decision-makers, and advocating for the AOPA membership on a range of critical issues in VA, West VA, MD, PA, DE, NJ, and OH.

In addition to his Juris Doctorate (J.D.), Mr. Winton has earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Aeronautics. He is a licensed commercial pilot with multi-engine land and instrument airplane ratings.  Mr. Winton has been a certified flight instructor for more than 20 years.
